  1. Hi again, sorry for many guestions, but can you not upload this house on the thesims3.com site? I really want this house, or do you know any video tutorial to download cc?

  2. Sorry, I won't be uploading any of my creations to the Exchange. As for video tutorials, I can't think of any at the moment, but I'm sure you can find something if you google it. Are you looking for information on installing sims3packs or package files? Both are explained in the tutorial here on my blog.

  3. Yes i've read your tutorial and i have do step by step but it wont work, or wich folder would I lay the townhouse cc ? Or do you can't have all objects on the unfurnished townhouse in the lot download (i mean, so i don't need to download the cc on the house) :)

  4. Alright, I've extracted the package file from the sims3pack lot. This means you can put this file into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Library. The house should now show up in your game bin, without any cc obviously. You can download the file here: http://www.mediafire.com/?sebb8dsit2o6ny6

    Hope that helps.

  5. Thank you, I will test soon! :D

A question, why wont you upload your house on the exchange? :)

    ReplyDelete
  6. Because the exchange is full of crappy downloads that are not properly play tested, or full of unwanted custom content. And it's impossible to get an accurate preview of what it exactly is you're downloading.

  7. ok, but do you have a account on the site? if yes, whats ur name there? :)

  8. I'm not sure why you'd need it. I never upload anything there.

  9. ok, sorry. But when I've lay the townhouse cc file in the library, it is clear then? Should the objects come up into the house when i've download it?

  10. Ok let me put this as clearly as I possibly can.

You said you couldn't get your game set up for custom content. I can't help you any further with that, unless you state any specific problems. My tutorial should be clear and without mistakes, it works perfectly fine for me and many others.

In order to still let you install the house (without any objects!), I extracted the package file for you, to put in the Library folder.

This means you will find the house in your game bin, but without any custom content.

  12. Hi again:)
Can I ask how you take your pictures? Just the good old "clicking 'tab' then 'c'" or do you use a program?
And what do you use for editing? Photoshop? (sharpening + playing with the colours, or do you have any presets?)
    Just curious. Thanks.

  13. Yep, just tab (a little zooming in or out), and 'c'. I use Photoshop CS5 to edit my pictures; first I resize them to 800px wide, then use a sharpening filter (smart sharpen at 10% I believe), and lastly apply a small 5px solid black border. I've played with Photoshop actions before, but usually I find they give too much of a heavily edited feel.

  14. Hi! Could you link me all the objects you have download in the house? But only if you have time!

It is a amazing house! The best sims house in the world i think! :D

  15. I'm afraid that if I do, I'll have to get back to you in 2015.. When I upload a furnished version of the townhouse, it will contain a folder with all the custom content I used.

    ReplyDelete
  16. ok, are you soon finished with the furnished verision? :D

    ReplyDelete
  17. The house is completely furnished, but I won't have time to upload it any time soon as I will be away to the UK for 2 weeks.

  18. It's really lovely! It reminds me of my Grandma's house.

  19. Where did you get that mirror and shower?
Btw; I just adore your creations.

  20. They're both from Awesims I believe.

  21. There is such a warm atmosphere in the pictures! I especially like the scene with the laundry basket, the scale and the wall towel.

And the counters are great. Do you remember where they are from?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Thank you :) It's been a while since I decorated this room, but I believe the towel is either an EP or Store item.

  23. Thank you for your answer. But I asked for the counters that are below the sink. Do you know where they are from?

    ReplyDelete
  24. D'oh sorry - didn't read that properly at all! The counters are from Awesims, the Geneva kitchen if I remember correctly.

  25. No problem. Thank you!
