MIA again
My sincerest apologies my Sims friends and followers (especially for the unanswered WCIF's)! The past month I have been MIA again, understandably due to real life crushing every bit of free time I have. Usually an upcoming expansion is enough to pull me back in, but I have to say that University Life does not exactly float my boat, sadly!
The few moments of free time I have had the last few weeks I spent giving my recipe blog a make-over, something that had been on my to-do list for months. I've finished the new design, revised all recipes and added nutritional information and better photos, so go ahead and take a look!
Anyway, I hope I'll get that 'simming urge' again and I hope to see you here soon!

Self sim apartment
Merry (belated) Christmas and a very happy 2013 to you all!
December was a busy month due to Christmas preparations and festivities, but now I'm back into simming as usual! I recently took Pemberton back to CAW to make some changes, I hated how the trees were permanently autumn coloured (apparently the coloured trees don't change appearance when the seasons change), some world objects got in my way when building on lots and I got fed up with the murky Bridgeport water and sky resources. The water and sky resources have been replaced by Awesims' unreleased version of St. Claire's resources, and they are absolutely lovely, much more colourful and versatile than EA's.
I moved my self sim family and other sims into a fresh version of Pemberton, I have mostly been playing to be honest, but I did furnish their living room and kitchen (the decorating is taking a little longer since I'm playing without cheats - although my self sim was lucky enough to find a genie lamp in the catacombs, and got 100.000 simoleons from wishing for fortune!).
Also, before showing the apartment pictures, I would like to link to the latest SF Magazine issue, in which Pemberton is featured in the World Showcase section!
And now for the apartment living room and kitchen:
More pictures after the jump!

More Winter Festival pictures
I took some more pictures of the fair stands during the winter festival, because they lost most of their detail under the thick blanket of snow (thanks Rachel for the tip!). In case anyone else is wondering, to instantly change the season/weather/temperature/wind speed, shift-click the ground in live mode to bring up a cheat menu (with testingcheatsenabled on).
